WWII Military 1911A1 pistol, cal. 45 Auto.
Military 45 ACP caliber pistol built in 1944 by Remington Rand.
Third type slide, parkerized finish.
"P" mark on the top of the slide, close to rear sight.
On the right side it's "United States Property" written on the serial number, and M 1911 A1 U.S. ARMY.
On the rear right side the Ordnance stamp.
On the left side the FJA (Frank J. Atwood) letters and the P stamp on the trigger guard.
Hammer, Slide stop e Safety are correct for that model.
On the left side of the barrel lug the HS stamp of the High Standard production.
On the upper side of the magazine floor plate, the G letter that identifies those produced directly by Remington.
7 round magazine.
