Revolver Smith & Wesson 15-3 issued by Los Angeles Sheriff's Department.
Revolver produced in 1974, model 15-3, barrel 4 ", caliber 38 Special, frame K.
US ordinance (on the side of the frame there are the initials L.A.S.D. (Los Angeles Sheriff's Department), this revolver features checkered wood grips, adjustable sights, 6-shots cylinder, barrel and hammer pinned.
The original bluing brings the signs of the service made (whitened edges, some scratches from port to holster), but the weapon is in excellent mechanical and structural condition.
It works in single and double action, with a particularly fluid trigger.
The wooden grips are in excellent condition.
