Tokarev TT30/33.
This is one of the so-called "transition model", because it is an original TT30 pistol to which was inserted the new and more robust barrel of the TT33 pistol.
The handgun is all matching number, with the obvious exclusion of the replaced barrel, and of the magazine, has the original bluing and excellent rifling.
It shows the characteristic 5-pointed star Tula marks, year of manufacture, and inspection marks.
The Caliber 7.62 tok. (7.62x25 mm).
This handgun is in totally original configuration, now of rare availability.

Tokarev was the handgun of the Russian army from 1935 onwards.The TT30 was chosen in the summer of 1930 after comparative tests with the models proposed by Soviets Korovin and Prilutskiy, and foreign models based on the Browning, Walther, Mauser, Luger systems. |
