P14 with Volley Sight, .303 british caliber, made by Winchester in late 1917.
This rifle is equipped with a volley sight, the aiming device for shooting at long distances, composed at the front of a quadrant, showing the scale 1500 and from 16 to 26 ", inside which a pointed indicator rotates indicating the scale graduated and on the other side a reference to be sighted by aiming. To the left of the rear sight there is a circular diopter placed on top of a folding element anchored to the safety pin.
The bolt, volley sight and rear sight are marked Eddystone.
The barrel has 5 grooves, with clear edges.
