Original front sight replacement 16,41x2,2 mm for Mosin Nagant 1891, 1891/30, M38, M44 rifles.

To replace the pin you need to remove the front sight assembly from the rifle, put it in a vice so that the bottom extension is between the jaws and there is clearance under the bottom of the dovetail, then use a punch through the hole in the top of the front sight hood, and use a hammer to push the post down and out the bottom of the sight assembly.

Insert the new pin from the base.
