Cal. 7,65 Ruby French Military pistol, code stamp "IS" - Iraola Salaverria y C.a - Eibar. 

Spanish production of the 1915, marked "I.S.", the acronym that identifies the production of Iraola Salaverria Y C.a of Eibar, one of the original four sub-contractors that Gabilondo commissioned to be helped to satisfy the huge quantity of pistols required by the French military contract.

An "EC" mark appears in the base of the magazine's floor plate. That's because the Spanish Ruby pistols, made by different manufacturers, not insured the interchangeability of their magazines, so Frenchs asked to mark the manufacturer code in each magazine.

Pistol made of steel, shows intact most of the inscriptions with the exception of the front part of the left side in which they are partially invisible.

The barrel is in excellent internal and external conditions, the trigger system and the safe working and efficient as well as the firing pin.

The wood grips have some areas where the knurled pattern is slightly rounded but still definite. One of the grips has a thin fissure at its bottom but there is no evidence of progressive separation of the part.

The fix ring for the hook in the lower part of the handle is square type.

The gun is all matching numbers.
