Beautiful Carl Gustafs model 1896 in 6.5x55 Swedesh from 1900.
Rifle is in excellent mechanical condition and in very good finish. Barrel is 29.1" (740 mm) with an overall approximate Length of 49,2" (1250 mm).
The Swedish Royal Crown followed by "Carl Gustafs Stads/Gevarsfaktori/1900" roll marks on the barrel chamber are clear and definite.
Serial numbers match on the whole bolt, the receiver. The magazine floor plate, the bolt release, the butt plate, the rear sight and both the barrel bands do not match.
Measure between the lands of the rifling: 6.49 mm.
