Spanish Carbine Destroyer cal. 9x23.
This Destroyer carbine was manufactured in Eibar by Ayra Duria arsenal in 1960 and was used by Spanish police and also by Spanish Civil Guard.
The rifle in our sales listing has a good brite bore with sharp rifling, a very good bluing and a good stock and handguard with correct sling swivels.
The main features of this "third type" Destroyer carbine are:
- a bent bolt handle;
- a full-length wood stock with a pistol grip;
- a V-notch battle rear sight for short range shooting (25/50 meters) and a collapsable sight, adjustable from 100 to 700 meters;
- left side sling swivels;
- a stamped "Cal 9 m/m Bergmann" on the receiver;
- "Destroyer Trade Mark" wtitten around a ship on the chamber ring.
