A beautiful hunting guns that represents the refinement of the best last century hunting guns production.
The weapon was produced and proof marked at Suhl (Germany) in 1990 and it is admirable for its beautiful English-style walnut oil finished straight stock. The forearm and the stock are checkered, and the case color hardened receiver, screws included, is hand engraved in Arabesque pattern.
The demibloc constructed barrels are made in special cold hammer-forged steel, and are 68 cm long with ***/* stars chocke. A solid sighting rib is fixed above the barrels and finish with a brass pearl front sight.
The metal parts are perfect both on the outside, with intact bluing, and inside, with mirror bright bores.
Self-cocking Anson and Deely boxlock action with on side receiver ledge cocking indicators.
A Greener cross-bolt with double under barrel locking lugs ensure a perfect locking system.
A double triggers system, automatic tang-mounted sliding safety and the Holland and Holland ejectors complete this Merkel SxS.
