12 ga. engraved artisan side-by-side external hammers hunting shotgun, made in early 1900s.
Nice early 1900s double barrel artisan hunting Belgian shotgun in 12 gauge.
The side-by-side weapon has external hammers and it is engraved on the receiver, the opening lever and on the trigger guard, with gold insert on the rib.
Woods are in good condition, without signs of repair.
Barrels are in good condition but have the internal surface with traces of corrosion not decreasing the robustness of the whole.
This shotgun shows the following markings that are useful to date the period when it was manufactured between February 1910 and June 1924.
- Marking "Cartridge chamber data": 65/20,6
- Marking "Stotgun barrel weight": P.1K407
- Marking of the gauge: "12C" in a square inclined by 45°
- Marking "Gauge in mm": 18,3
- Marking "Choke": 18,4 / 18,6.
