Historical references

Origin:

Rifle produced in France by Manufacture d'Armes de Saint-Étienne between 1957 and 1963.

The prefix letter in the serial number helps to trace the year of production of the rifle:

The F series was produced between 1956 and 1958;

The G series between 1958 and 1960;

The H series between 1961 and 1963.

It is estimated that around 280,000 units were produced in total.

Rarity:

The rifle has a scope rail on the left side of the receiver on which is mounted the standard optical sight APX L Modele 1953 telescope with 3.85X magnification.
