Colt Model Diamondback 2,5", year 1966.
Colt's small deluxe revolver, designed along the lines of the Python, with a 6-shot 38 special cylinder and fully adjustable quality sights.
Being dated 1966, it belongs to the very first series (Diamondback was produced between 1966 and 1988) and it is equipped with original wooden grips with silver Colt medallion.
The Diamondback is built on the smaller "D frame," as used in the Detective Special.
Due to the lack of the rear piece of the left cheek, it is sold at a lower price than its real market value.
