Steyr Mannlicher 1896 (1946).
This carbine is part of 4000 Steyr Mannlicher 17 3/4" barrel carbines purchased by Portugueses from Romenian for their cavalry and converted to single shot .22 long rifle caliber in 1946, to be use as training carbine.
